how do you coach back line defence against attack from midfield scrum
Mike
It sounds as if you are doing your RFU Level 2?
The best thing is to get your players to put themselves in the place of the attackers.
Ask them to consider where the opposition might attack and how they should respond.
If you then set up a practice session which challenges them to react to different attack options your players will be well placed to be able to defend effectively in a game!
I hope this helps
Simon
